COBALTOAN CALCITE FOR SALE

Cobaltoan calcite (Cobaltocalcite) is a fairly scarce, cobalt-bearing variety of Calcite. It tends to display a pink color of which intensity can range anywhere from a pinkish-salmon to a hot pink. Cobaltoan calcite crystallizes in a trigonal crystal system and forms small rhombohedral or scalenohedral crystals. Some of the best specimens come from the Bou Azzer District in Morocco and the Congo.
