Impressive Cyphaspis Trilobite Cluster - Top Quality Preparation

This is a spectacular cluster of trilobites from the Bou Dib Formation near Mrakib, Morocco. There are five complete specimens on this piece; one is prone and the other four enrolled. The hard limestone surrounding them has been removed to create a rather aesthetic and impressive display. Total restoration on the piece is about 2-3%.

This species of Cyphaspis is sometimes referred to as the "Devil Horn" Cyphaspis for obvious reasons and it was finally formally described in 2014. A link to the paper can be found below.
