8.3" Fossil Running Rhino (Hyracodon) Jaw Section - South Dakota

This is an 8.3" wide jaw (mandible) section of Hyracodon nebraskensis. It was collected from the the Brule Formation in South Dakota and would be approximately 30-33 million years old. There are two preserved teeth still embedded in the jaw.

It is accompanied by the pictured display stand.
