2.4" Mackerel and Partial Tiger Shark Tooth Fossil in Rock - Eocene

This is a 2.4" fossil tooth of the extinct, giant mackerel shark, Cretolamna maroccana, from the phosphate deposits in the Oulad Abdoun Basin of Morocco. It is naturally associated with a partial sand tiger shark (Striatolamia macrota) tooth. These fossils are Eocene in age, or approximately 54 million years old.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
