New Fossils of Jurassic World Page

We created a Fossils of Jurassic World page, dedicated to the fossils we have in are inventory for dinosaurs and reptiles featured in Jurassic World and the Jurassic Park series.  These include teeth from dinosaurs such as T-Rex, Triceratops, Raptors, Spinosaurus and reptiles such as Mosasaurus.  We had to fudge a little bit by including closely related animals by including teeth from all Mosasaurs not just the genus Mosasaurus and from raptors in general not just Velociraptors.  This gives us a much better selection and hey, the dinosaurs in Jurassic World are all hybrids anyways ;)

Some of the fossil teeth are surprisingly inexpensive.  While articulated dinosaur skeletons are very rare, teeth of some types of dinosaurs are surprisingly common in the fossil record.  This is because:

  1. Teeth are much more solid than bone and tended to survive intact to be fossilized much easier.
  2. Much like sharks, dinosaurs shed their teeth frequently as they become worn or the dinosaur grew.  It’s estimated that some plant eaters replaced every one of their teeth as often as one a month and the theropods possibly several times a year.  This means an adult dinosaur may have shed thousands of teeth during it’s lifetime.

So be sure to check them out, they make great gifts for that dinosaur/fossil lover in your life.
