2.4" Red Calcite Crystal Cluster - Mexico

This specimen contains an aggregation of red calcite crystals, collected from Mexico. There are inclusions of hematite (iron oxide) within the crystals, giving them their orange-red appearance. What could be considered the underside of the specimen also contains some small quartz crystals.
