6.4" Wide, Jurassic Brittle Star (Palaeocoma) Fossil - Whitby, England

This is a beautifully preserved brittle star (starfish) fossil of the species Palaeocoma cf. milleri. It has been partially prepped free from the limestone that it was found in and measures 5.1" wide (longest measurement). It was collected from the Lower Jurassic age Lower Lias - Daveoi Zone of North Yorkshire, England and is approximately 200 million years old.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
