4" Wide, Pliosaurus (Stretosaurus) Vertebra - England
This is a 4" wide vertebra of the giant Pliosaur Stretosaurus (Pliosaurus) cf. macromerus. It is Upper Jurassic in age and was collected in Abingdon, England. The vertebral process didn't remain intact, however the vertebra preserved beautifully otherwise and there is no indication of any repair or restoration.
