4.7" Fossil Whale Bone - Shark Tooth Marks (Megalodon?)

This is a 4.7" long section of fossil whale bone collected in South Carolina. What's interesting about this bone segment is that the gashes in the bone were almost certainly caused by another tooth, likely a large shark as it fed on the whale. These whales would have been a food source for the gigantic Megalodon sharks living at the same time.
