.26" Cretaceous Mammal (Alphadon) Tooth - Montana

This is a .26" tooth of a late Cretaceous marsupial (Alphadon) from the Judith River Formation, Montana. This specimen is a premolar in very good condition with good enamel.

Alphadon is a genus of extinct marsupials that closely resembled modern opossums. Eight species are known: three can be found in the Judith River Formation.
