This is a 26.8" long dinosaur rib section that was collected from the Morrison Formation of Colorado. It is from a dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic period and is approximately 150 million years old. It was found in pieces within the rock, requiring significant crack repair and gap fill restoration where the bone crumbled.
