13.8" Miocene Fossil Fish & Leaf (Platanus) Plate - Nebraska

This is a beautiful association of a preserved, 3.7" long fossil fish and 6.8" wide leaf (Platanus vitifolia) collected from the Valentine Formation in Cherry County, Nebraska. The dark black-orange preservation contrasts well against the beige-grey rock. This is new material, collected from a private ranch by a friend of ours last summer. I'm not aware of material from this site being available before this location previously.

Comes with a gibson display stand.
