15.9" Running Rhino (Subhyracodon) Foot on Metal Stand - North Dakota

This is an articulated running rhino (Subhyracodon) hind limb that was collected from North Dakota. It is Oligocene in age, or approximately 32 million years old. The bones were found naturally associated together and in excellent condition. There are repaired cracks through all of the long bones and the calcaneus bone.

This leg comes in two pieces and sits beautifully on the accompanied custom metal display stand. On the stand, this leg stands 15.9" tall. Felt rounds have been added to the base of the stand to keep it from scratching the surface that it's displayed on.
