1.7" Fossil Sitka Spruce (Picea) Pine Cone - Washington State

This is a fossil Sitka Spruce cone of the species Picea sitchensis, collected from the Willapa Formation of Pacific County, Washington. Most of the rock that surrounded this specimen has been removed, though there are still some spots where rock is present.

This comes out of an old collection we recently acquired, and is the only one we have available.
